Victory Conditions in Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy
Victory Conditions in Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy
The victory conditions in Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy have been completely revamped from the traditional fighting system. In the context of the main gameplay system, key details are as follows:
1. Main Objective: Boss Race
The core of winning in the 3vs3 mode is not accumulating points from defeating opposing players, but rather "racing against time and the other team to defeat the arena boss as quickly as possible". The game is structured to be objective-focused as follows:
- Dual Health Bars: The boss has two health bars displayed at the top of the screen, representing each team’s progress independently.
- Endgame Condition: The team that depletes their boss's health first will immediately win.
- Time Expiration: If no team defeats the boss within 5 minutes, the team with the lowest remaining boss health (highest damage dealt) wins.
2. Prerequisites Before Dealing Damage
Players cannot attack the boss immediately. Victory depends on resource management in the proper sequence:
- Breaking the Barrier: The boss is invincible at first. Players must accumulate 9,999 Bravery Points to activate Bravery Burst, the only state that allows damage to the boss.
- Burst Continuity: The Burst state remains active as long as players continuously use skills. If the final skill ends or cooldown is too long, the state ends, and points must be recollected.
3. Win Condition Strategies
To achieve victory, strategies go beyond simple fighting:
- Burst Chain Coordination: High-level wins often result from team members entering Burst mode together to attack the boss simultaneously, generating massive Team Combo damage.
- Disruption: Victory may also come from preventing the opposing team from meeting conditions by attacking enemy players to "steal Bravery Points" (Siphoning), slowing their access to Burst mode.
4. Outcome if No Winner
If both teams focus only on PvP and fail to damage the boss sufficiently, or time expires, the boss wins. System-wise, both teams are considered tied and receive a Battle Ranking penalty.
In summary, the victory conditions in this game involve managing the 5-minute timer efficiently by accumulating Bravery Points to deal maximum damage to the boss. PvP combat serves only as a tool for gaining resource advantages.
