Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy: Agile (Lightning & Zidane)

The Agile class, also known as the "high-speed, nimble" class, is defined as the "Map Controller," playing a key role in controlling map advantages and resources. Its gameplay and strategic role compared to other classes are as follows:

1. Strategic Role (Map Control & Crystal Denial)

  • Rapid Map Access: Agile's primary role is using superior mobility to reach points quickly and perform "Crystal Purification" across the Tokyo map, rapidly generating Bravery points for the team.
  • Hit-and-Run Disruption: Instead of direct confrontation like Melee, Agile attacks and retreats to disrupt enemies, especially preventing opponents from successfully purifying crystals (Crystal Denial).
  • Flanking Attacks: Agile's high mobility makes it dangerous to low-defense Ranged enemies, allowing flanking or rear attacks to eliminate enemy damage dealers.

2. Key Characters and Applications

  • Lightning (High-Efficiency Map Controller):
    • Ranked S-Tier for her exceptional ability to clear monsters around crystals and dominate map control.
    • Possesses strong AoE attacks and fast skills, allowing swift movement between crystal points.
  • Zidane Tribal (Bravery Disrupter):
    • Outstanding as a "Disrupter" with unique skills like Dash & Steal, able to directly steal Bravery points from nearby enemies.
    • Passive ability Master Thief increases movement speed when HP is low (<40%), making escape from ganks easier. However, he is harder to play and requires higher player skill.

3. Team Dynamics (Interaction with 4 Play Styles)

In 3v3 team setups, Agile has specific high-level roles:

  • Solo Strategy in 2-1 Split: While Melee and Support secure central points, Agile often operates solo to contest the second crystal or slow enemy point collection.
  • Damage Opening: Though raw damage may be lower than Melee or Ranged, Agile can accumulate BP quickly from controlling crystals, enabling frequent Bravery Bursts to support teammates.
  • Coordination with Support: Agile relies on BP replenishment or speed buffs from Support (e.g., Krile) to maintain continuous map control throughout the 5-minute match.

Summary: Agile is the "strategic backbone" of the team, managing the flow of Bravery points. Without Agile, the team may enter boss damage phases slower than the opponent.
