Louis
Louis is a wandering beekeeper who travels the world in search of rare bee species. He stays at Gotz’s house, which is located near the Hot Spring in Mineral Village. Louis spends most of his time around the area during the daytime and often talks about his pursuit of the ideal bee.
Louis likes gifts such as Bread and Honey, but dislikes Curry Powder, Flour, and Oil. His birthday is on the 2nd of Spring. Giving him gifts he likes—especially wrapped gifts on his birthday—can quickly increase your friendship with him.
Louis plays an important role in a bee-related event. If the player grows flowers on the farm until bees begin nesting in the apple tree and honey can be harvested, Louis will visit the farm and identify these bees as the rare species he has been searching for. As a result, the selling price of honey increases from 50G to 60G. This event boosts crop value and makes Louis a key character for early-game income generation in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature.
